Prospective parliamentary candidates available for questionning at event

Businesses will have the opportunity to put their questions to the parliamentary candidates for Luton South at a forthcoming hustings event.

The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), which has more than 2,000 members in Bedfordshire, wants to know what the government will do to support small businesses, whose growth fuels the economy and creates new jobs.

And now local companies and entrepreneurs can pose their burning questions at a live debate hosted by FSB on Monday, March 29 at the Riverside Conference Centre, in Gipsy Lane, Luton.

Candidates attending the event include independent runners Esther Rantzen and Joe Hall, Conservative Nigel Huddleston and Labour's Gavin Shuker.

The evening starts at 6pm with a free buffet and a chance to meet and talk to all the candidates.

This will be followed by a question time session at 6.30pm, in which the audience can ask whatever they wish and the candidates can reply and challenge each others' positions.

Entry is by free ticket.
