Robert Bruce Middle School pupils show off their wares
Colourful crockery is the latest offering from fashionistas at Robert Bruce Middle School, after work they created on plates went on display at Project 229 in Kempston.

The pupils' work was inspired by illustrator Jeffrey Fulvimari and his creations on paper plates. The New York author is also known for his work illustrating Madonna's children's book.

And their own work on porcelain crockery used a variety of water colour and illustration techniques has now been put up at community organisation Project 229 in Bedford Road in an exhibition will continue until mid-March.

Art teacher Sue Warren said: "Our pupils and staff are very proud and excited about the exhibition and we will be delighted to have people from across Bedford and Kempston come and see what they have produced."
