Ampthill students go Italian

There is no way these youngsters at Russell Lower School are pasta their best, after they sampled a taste of the continent last week.

Pupils took part in a special Italian day, wearing Italian clothes, sampling Italian food, and creating artwork of Italian things.

Headteacher Jane Sealey said: "It is always good fun to take a day 'off-curriculum' and I know the children learnt a lot while they were enjoying themselves."
