New vike sheds opened at Robert Bruce Middle School
Pedal-powered pupils in Kempston have been busy creating new sch-cool bike sheds by giving them an artistic revamp.

The cycle-mad children at Robert Bruce Middle School have completely redesigned the structure, which was unveiled by Mayor of Bedford Dave Hodgson on Thursday.

Mr Hodgson also arrived at the school in style, on his own bike, which he rode from Borough Hall to open the shelter. He said: "As a council, we are committed to creating a clean and green borough.

"If more students cycled to school it may encourage their parents and friends to follow."
