Bishop of Bedford tours new classroom
A first class facility has been opened at Holywell Middle School, with the unveiling of a high-tech classroom suite.

The Cranfield school had the facility opened by the Bishop of Bedford the Rt Rev Richard Inwood. He was then shown the facilities, which include interactive whiteboards, laptop computers with internet access, and a "carpet wall" to display students' work and reduce noise levels.

Headteacher Peter Haddon said: "Part of the school's mission statement is to be a centre of excellence in academic achievement and provide students with the means to realise their potential.

"The students, teachers and governors are thrilled with the new facilities and we were delighted to so many people could come along to share this very special occasion."
