An exclusive 'Bond And Bubbles' premiere screening of Quantum Of Solace raised £6,000 for Help For Heroes, organisers say.

The event was laid on by Bedford Park Rotary Club at Cineworld in aid of the charity which supports servicemen and women injured in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Posing outside the cinema with an Aston Martin and a martini, Rotary president Brendan McNulty said his club was also planning to send Christmas presents to British troops serving overseas.

Help For Heroes is also supported by Princes William and Harry, who were present at the Royal World Premiere in Leicester Square two nights before the Bedford screening on October 31. The number one song 'Hero', from X Factor, is also dedicated to the charity.
