Sporty stationers made a tash for it in their fancy dress costumes on Saturday.
Staff at Rymans in Bedford High street got all kitted out and took part in a sponsored exercise bike ride in aid of the Sport Relief appeal.
Beverly Everitt, who works at the store, said: "The whole day went really well and we got some really positive feedback from the public.
"Some people popped into the shop, put their money in the bucket and then went out again.
"We managed to cycle 160 miles towards our goal and we raised £85 for the bucket collection."
The team aims to cycle 500 miles on the bike over the three Saturdays running up to the Sport Relief weekend later this month.
Less sporty staff were also on hand to rattle a bucket in aid of the cause and the team hope to raise a minimum of £200 over the three weeks.
The store is also selling specially branded Sport Relief stationery, the proceeds from which will go to the cause.
