Police not treating incident as suspicious


A workman was airlifted to hospital after falling through a factory roof on Sunday afternoon.

The man, aged in his late 30s, broke both his legs in the fall at the AB Fruits building in Murdock Road Industrial Estate, Bedford. He was completing maintainance work with a colleague when he fell at about 2pm.

The man, whose condition was stable throughout the incident, was treated at Bedford Hospital.
