Man robbed in hospital grounds

Computer and iPod stolen by gang


A hospital worker was robbed at knifepoint by three men who took his laptop and iPod as he left work on Saturday night.

The attack happened victim in the staff car park of the Luton & Dunstable Hospital at about 10.30pm. The victim was getting into his car when the three men approached him, threatened him with a knife and took his bag.

The victim was only able to give police a description of one of the robbers, who was white, about 24 years old and 5ft 7ins tall. He wore a black beanie hat, a black top zipped up to his face and dark tracksuit bottoms.

Bedfordshire Police say anyone with any information about the robbery should call 01582 394191, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
