Sessions will take place at Dunstable Leisure Centre

A fitness programme for new mums and pregnant women will be launched soon at Dunstable Leisure Centre.

FitBack and Bumps is a national scheme aiming to educate women on how to exercise safely during pregnancy and after giving birth.

Farah Thompson, 27, a trained physiotherapist, is leading the Dunstable programme and is keen to recruit members to the classes, starting on November 24.

Apart from exercise advice, the sessions also aim to educate women on their changing body and posture.

Mum-of-two Farah said: "After having my children, I noticed there were gaps in antenatal education and no-one really advises women on pelvic floor exercises."

Farah currently works as an out-patient physiotherapist for the NHS.

For details on FitBack and Bumps, call Farah on 0795 8638127 or visit www.fitbackandbumps.co.uk.
