Three suspects caught in under an hour
A 18-year-old man suffered eye injuries after he was attacked by a gang of four in Luton Road on Monday afternoon at around 2pm.
The crooks, who were driving a BMW, demanded the victim hand over his belongings.
He then passed over his wallet and a mobile telephone but one of the gang still got out of the vehicle and punched him twice in the face before the group drove off.
The victim raised the alarm and less than an hour later three of the men were arrested in George Street, Luton.
Two of the them were taken to Dunstable Police Station and one to Luton where they were interviewed and later bailed.
Police are still trying trace the fourth member of the group.
