And Stein joins Newell at Grimsby
Luton Town have this afternoon (Thursday) announced that first team coach Warren Neill has been relieved of his duties.

Neill was appointed as manager Mick Harford's assistant in January this year while Town were in administration.

A club statement from LTFC2020 managing director Gary Sweet said performance manager Joe Dunbar would also be departing.

Sweet said: "Warren and Joe have done a great job for us but this club is in a unique situation and clinical action is sometimes required in order for us to maximise our chances of survival."

Sweet added that interviews would be taking place and announcement on the duo's long-term replacements would be made in the next few days.

Until then youth team coach Alan Neilsen will take temporary charge of coaching duties.

Harford commented: "Both guys have done a tremendous amount for the club and fans should thanks them both for their contribution.

"We had a huge task on our hands putting a squad together for this season and without their knowledge and support that would have been an impossible task.

"Very few people would have taken on the challenge at the time they did and I wish them every success in the future."
