Just 54 points dropped by duo

Ever-improving eventer Jane Russell and her stead Tregoyd Court Jester, better known as Boo, put in a decent showing at the British Eventing 90 event on Sunday.

Staged at the Milton Keynes Eventing Centre, The Luton News snapper placed 26th out of the 40 riders competing in section L.

Russell and Boo, pictured right, dropped 40 points in the dressage, four in the showjumping and 10 in time penatlies despite going clear in the cross-country section, as they finished on 54 penalty points.

The 45-year-old from Milton Keynes, who has taken lessons from Nick Turner and Beverley Brightman, was delighted with the way Boo, five, performed in the showjumping and cross-country.

She said: "He did it in a much more professional manner than before.
"This time he just flew round and was just brilliant."
