Action from the Chiltern Junior Sevens League

Victory in their top of the table clash with Hatfield Youth propelled St Martins U13s to the summit of Division Two of the Chiltern Junior Sevens League.

Saints edged to a 3-2 victory to leapfrog Hatfield at the top of the table.

The Luton team raced into a 2-0 lead. A mazy run and cross by Kally Wilson was well finished by Leanne Timon for the first, while Wilson was again the provider for Darcey Silcock to net the second.

Hatfield came back strongly and levelled the scores midway through the second half with two quick strikes of their own.

Sadie McGreevy got what proved to be the winner with minutes remaining and a girl of the game performance from defender Lucy Callen helped Saints cling on for victory.
