Beecroft Lower School celebrated their 60th anniversary with a 1952-style ‘ rock n roll’ party day in honour of pop culture in the year the school was opened.

Kids were given dance lessons from before being treated to a rock ‘n’ roll concert.

The school are proud to announce two upcoming charity events – a Jeans for Genes day on October 5, and a Macmillan coffee morning on October 23.

Acting head Rob Hutchings said: “We like to get involved with everything to do with charity – we’re a really good school for that.”
