Breaking: Police name victim of Kensworth car collision

A man that died after a collision in Kensworth on Tuesday morning has been named as 40-year-old Nadeem Younis.

Mr Younis, of Billet Road, Walthamstow, London, suffered fatal injuries after a collision between a car and a lorry at around 8.30am.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The lorry driver received minor injuries and was treated at the crash location.

The collision occurred opposite the Dunstable Downs Visitor Centre and police officers closed the road, which was reopened shortly before 1pm.

A full investigation is taking place and any witnesses are asked to contact PC Ralph with any information on 101 or text 07786 200011.

After the collision PC Ralph said: “Our thoughts are with those concerned and their families.”
