Mayor opens up new housing

Dunstable Mayor Cllr Liz Jones was guest of honour at the launch of The Ridgeway in Dunstable.

The development is located on Frenchs Avenue and has transformed a brownfield site.

During the event, Ian Sadler, Managing Director of Barratt Homes North Thames, welcomed the Mayor and spent time talking to her about the development.

Glenn Copper, Sales Manager for Barratt Homes North Thames, then gave the Mayor a tour of the two show homes, the four bedroom Helmsley and the three bedroom Barwick, which are now open to view.

Cllr Jones, said: “It was a great pleasure to cut the ribbon to officially open The Ridgeway. I particularly enjoyed meeting the people from Barratt Homes and learning more about the homes available which are a great addition to our community.”

Ian Sadler, Managing Director of Barratt Homes North Thames, said: “I’m pleased to hear the Mayor enjoyed her visit to The Ridgeway and I’d like to thank her for opening the development.

“We are very proud of The Ridgeway and the range of homes we are building while we will also be investing over £1.3 million in the community in areas such as education and transport.”
