Members of a Christian charity have been raising money to put together food bags for those who need them over the Christmas period.

My Fathers House, based at Mountbatten House, High Street South, started the Raven Project to help those who cannot provide meals for themselves.

Last Christmas they handed out 100 food bags at the Dunstable market, they are hoping to do the same on Saturday morning.

The charity has been working with local organisations to ensure the bags go to where they are most needed.

Pastor of My Father’s House, Babatunde Akinfisoye, said: “It has been a great privilege to be able to reach out to those in our community and provide practical help this season.”
