Bedfordshire Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after jewellery, computer equipment and televisions were stolen from a home in Houghton Regis on Sunday afternoon (January 5).

The incident took place sometime between 5pm and 5.30pm at the house in Trident Drive when the burglars broke a panel in the back door to gain entry to the property.

Once inside, a search of the house was carried out before the thieves left with two televisions, a laptop, an iPad 2, a Windows mobile phone, cash and jewellery including a gold ring with the initials ‘PC’ engraved, a Timex watch and charm bracelet.
