Man punched to the ground after night out in Dunstable

Police are investigating after a man was punched to the ground in Dunstable after a night out last week.

The attack happened on Friday April 1 between 4am and 4.10am as the victim left a nightclub and made his way towards a bus stop outside Asda on Court Drive.

He was approached by a man who briefly spoke to the victim before punching him, knocking him to the ground. The offender was then pulled away by other people who were with him.

The offender is described as being a white male, with brown hair and a brown beard, wearing dark clothing.

PC Simon Day said: “This assault took place at a bus stop outside a supermarket, and opposite a pub and a nightclub.

“If you were in the area at the time and saw the assault take place, or if you have any information about who was responsible, I would urge you to come forward.”
