Police have made an appeal six days after a man was stabbed in Dunstable.

At around 3.15pm on Thursday the victim was approached in Mayfield Road by three men, one of which assaulted him and then stabbed him in the thigh.

The three men fled on bicycles.

One of the suspects is described as white and of slender build.

PC Richard Sam said: “This took place in a very public place outside a parade of shops, above which are some flats.

“There were a number of people in the area at the time, and so I am keen to speak to anyone who was in the area and either saw the incident, or saw three men leaving the area quickly.

“Thankfully the victim’s injuries were not life threatening, but it’s vital we find who is responsible.”

Call PC Samm on 101 with information, or alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
