A man in Dunstable was left unconscious after being subjected to a vicious gang attack.

The victim was walking through the Woodside industrial estate on Eyncourt Road when he was approached by 12 men, in the early hours of Friday morning, February 13.

After threats and demands that he hand over cash, they began to physically assault him – rendering him unconscious.

DC Gill Cowley said: “This is a particularly horrible, and completely unprovoked, serious attack which has left the victim with several injuries. We’re urging anyone who witnessed the incident, or anyone with information that could help us identify those responsible, to contact us immediately.”

Ten of the men are understood to be black, and two are white. One man was described as black, around 5’10”, with a star tattoo under his eye. He was apparently wearing a bandana around the lower part of his face and spoke with a strong London accent.

Anyone with information contact DC Cowley on 101 or text 07786 200 011.
