Drugs raid detectives swooped on a Dunstable house and seized cocaine, skunk cannabis, cash and drugs paraphernalia.

The officers executed a search warrant at the property in St Peter’s Road on Friday, May 16.

A 48 -year-old woman and a 16-year-old youth were both arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.

Speaking after the raid, Det Con Craig Gurr, said: “Bedfordshire Police is committed to cracking down on those who deal in illegal drugs activities.

“These people are often involved in other types of crime and by disrupting their behaviour we are able to help reduce crime in an area.

“We would welcome any information from the public in connection with those that deal in drugs and we would reassure the public that all information is used and is kept confidentially.”

Both people arrested in the Dunstable raid have now been released on police bail pending further investigation.
