A teenager has been arrested after an attempted break-in at a Dunstable newsagent.
Martin’s in Ashton Square was reportedly targeted twice over the weekend. The site also includes a post office.
A police spokesman said: “We were called shortly before 4am this morning (June 8) to reports of an attempted break-in at a newsagent in Ashton Square, Dunstable.
“Damage to a wooden board was caused but nothing was taken.
“A 16 year old from Dunstable was arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary and remains in police custody at this time.”
