Three arrests after motorbike near-miss

Three people were arrested after a near-miss in which a 64-year-old woman is said to have narrowly escaped injury.

Police were called to Melton Walk in Houghton Regis at 12.35pm on Tuesday, March 4, after she was allegedly nearly struck by two motorcycles.

One person was on the first bike, while the second had a rider and passenger.

Response officers and local policing team members went to Leaf Road and arrested three men.

They also recovered three bikes, believed to have been stolen.

Three people arrested on suspicion of taking motorcycles without consent and dangerous driving were released on bail pending further enquiries.
