A Thomas Whitehead Primary pupil donated his Nintendo Wii and all his games to the children’s ward at the Luton and Dunstable hospital.

Harryscott Kerrigan, 10, of Houghton Regis, decided to donate his games console because he thought the children on the ward would appreciate it.

Elaine Stenhouse, Harryscott’s mum, said: “Not only did he donate his Wii, but he also gave all the games to go with it, it was the proudest day of my life.”
