Police are investigating after a man in a red car indecently exposed himself to two 11-year-old girls in Dunstable town centre.

The incident took place at between 8.15am and 8.35am of December 2 as the girls waited to cross the road outside Wrigglies Exotic Pets store in High Street South.

The driver of the red car pulled up alongside the girls and exposed himself, before driving off along High Street South and onto to the small service road outside Peri Peri Chicken heading away from town.

The man is described as white, around 50, with light brown hair and wearing a brown suit and white shirt.

The car is described as red, possibly a Volvo or Vauxhaull Astra, with a peach or cream interior.

Investigating officer PC Allan Taylor said: “This is quite a nasty incident involving two young girls walking to school.

“Because of the time and location there would have been a lot of traffic about and plenty of people who may have seen something.

“Anyone who saw this red car, knows the driver or saw this incident, should contact me, in confidence, at Bedfordshire Police on 101, or text information to 07786 200011.”
