Luton Town ended their wait for a first League Two victory of the season as they triumphed 3-1 at Cambridge United on Saturday.

The visitors took the lead in stunning fashion when Luke Guttridge’s audacious 40-yard chip beat the back-pedalling Chris Dunn on 21 minutes for his first goal of the season.

Cambridge centre half Leon Legge drew the U’s level, powering home his header on 28 minutes, before the game changed in the second period when Harrison Dunk received his second yellow card for handball after the hour mark.

From the free kick, Luke Wilkinson jumped highest to convert Danny Green’s pinpoint delivery, with Green then settling the clash late on, after a fine passing move involving Guttridge, Craig Mackail-Smith and Josh McQuoid.
