Luton Town reached the second round of the Capital One Cup by knocking out Championship side Bristol City 3-1 at Kenilworth Road on Tuesday night,
Jack Marriott put the Hatters in front moments before half time beating Ben Hamer at his near post after a lovely flowing move from the home side.
In the second period, Town led 2-0 through Paul Benson, while Marriott took advantage of a defensive slip to add Luton’s third just after the hour.
City pulled one back late on, but Hatters had done enough to progress to the next stage.
