Hospital radio is calling for you

Are you a caring person who likes to meet new people? Can you work as part of a team?

L&D Radio are looking for committed volunteers to visit the wards of Luton and Dunstable Hospital to meet the patients, take requests and promote the work of the station.

Being in hospital can be a lonely experience and L&D Radio’s goal is to brighten the day of patients through good music and chat. Having a ward visiting team is part of our vision to give as much as we can to the patients of the L&D.

L & D Radio broadcasts 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to patients and staff at the Luton & Dunstable Hospital. We are a charitable organisation run by hardworking volunteers. We are a free service for hospital patients and can be listened to through the Hospedia bedside units. You can also hear us on 1134AM and online at www.ldhr.co.uk.
