demanded the victim handed over jewellery.
The incident took place at around 1.30pm on Friday, August 2 when offenders forced their way into the house in Seamons Close and demanded the victim hand over jewellery.
When the victim refused, one of the men grabbed a knife and threatened the woman while the other two searched the property.
The offenders then used telephone cabling to tie up the woman before fleeing with thousands of pounds worth of jewellery. The men were all Eastern European, and one of them – in the E-Fit – was mid-20s, around 5ft 8ins, wearing dark clothing and jacket with a hood pulled up. Det Con Surfaz Hussain said: “This was a terrifying experience for the victim and it is extremely concerning that a pensioner appears to have been targeted in such a manner.” Call 101 with information.
