Police have issued this e-fit of a man they wish to speak to in connection with two sex attacks in Dunstable

Police have now released this e-fit picture of the man believed to have carried out two sex attacks on women in Dunstable on Friday, January 10.

The first was at about 5.15pm in an alley near Apollo Close. A man grabbed the 28-year-old victim by the shoulder, turned her around and tried to kiss her, pushing her against a fence. She bit his tongue hard but he tried to put his hand inside her clothes. The fence collapsed and they fell. He tried to get on top of her but she escaped and called 999. Then at 5.25pm, a man tried to hug and kiss a 55-year-old woman in Priory Gardens. She pushed him away, shouted at him and he walked off towards the high street.

The man in both cases was of Mediterranean appearance, mid-20s to late 30s, 5ft 5ins-5ft 8ins tall and stocky. He had dark hair, dark eyes, a strong accent and wore a long black coat, dark trousers or jeans and black shoes. Anyone with information should call Det Sgt Martin Eaton, 01582 394310, non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers, 0800 555 111.
