Half term activities to help protect wildlife

Wildlife Youth Rangers are visiting Blow’s Downs Nature Reserve , Dunstable, on May 28 and Houghton Regis Chalk Pit Nature Reserve on May 29, both from 1pm to 3.30pm.

They will be helping to protect local wildlife. Activities on Blow’s Downs include collecting wild flower seed to establish more local wild flowers and insect surveying to help us understand nature reserves.

At Houghton Regis Chalk Pit they will be testing for water life and quality and pulling up an invasive plant.
