Everything in the garden was lovely at the Kensworth Flower and Vegetable Show, held in the village on Saturday, September 7.
Organisers were delighted with the turnout for the annual event, in Kensworth Village Hall.
Exhibitors again brought along a colourful display of produce, admired and appreciated by a packed audience.
Awards were presented by Nick Wearmouth from show sponsor Ashtons Estate Agents.
Major prize-winners were Helene Gudjah, Sue Foster, Geoffrey Stafford, Jenny Patterson, Abigail and Duncan Potter and Jenny Bowes.
Bob Iles took the major trophy for most points overall.
He is pictured on this page with two giant cabbages grown by himself and wife Annie, which were on display but were not entered into any category.
The Best Front Garden title was awarded to Vince Curzon, Best Allotment went to Vernon and Sue Moynes, and John Kerr was Best Newcomer.
Now the committee would like to thank all who contributed towards the show’s success.
An auction at the end of the event ensured that exhibits went to a good home.
