Chelsea FC fan Jan Duckmanton, of Dunstable, was treated to a tour of Stamford Bridge when she picked up a £750 cheque as a Chelsea Foundation Lottery winner.

Lifelong Chelsea supporter Jan, 58, who attended her first game at Stamford Bridge in 1973, was joined by husband Clive, after winning the Winter Warmer prize.

She said: “I joined the Chelsea Foundation Lottery because I was so impressed with the work they do, not just in England but around the world, to help underprivileged children, so I wanted to give something back.

“It was never about winning the money but rather supporting the good work they do in the community regardless of what someone’s race, religion or background is.

“However, the money is a nice bonus and I’m taking Clive out for a nice meal and maybe we can find a few extra-special things to treat ourselves to!”

All funds raised from this lottery go towards award-winning community and charity programmes.
