Jewellery stolen in burglary at Dunstable home

Bedfordshire Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after jewellery was stolen from a home in Dunstable during a burglary yesterday afternoon (Feb 11).

The incident happened some time been 1.15pm and 5pm at the home in Katherine Drive when the thieves forced their way into the property and then carried out a search of the main bedroom.

The burglars stole a white, wooden jewellery box along with a range of jewellery including a gold wedding band, a gold trilogy ring encrusted with diamonds, a gold wedding ring with a round sapphire in the centre and diamonds around it, and a gold ring with a square aquamarine stone.

Det Con Matt Stonnell, who is investigating the incident, is keen to hear from anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area or may have been offered any of the jewellery.
