Wildlife crafts and ‘bioblitz’ walks are just two of the fun activities at a Community Day at Houghton Regis Chalk Pit Nature Reserve on Saturday (June 7).

The Wildlife Trust is hosting the event between 10am and 3pm and the busy programme also includes Wild Art with Full House and hands-on nature activities with the Natuonal Trust.

Follow the signs from the Lakeview pedestrian access point.

Booking is not essential, but is recommended. All ages are welcome although under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. Dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy footwear for uneven ground. Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.

This is a free event, but donations can be made. Contact Ruth Sneath for more details on 01525 874317 or email ruth.sneath@wildlifebcn.org
