Advisors from Central Bedfordshire Travel Choices will be on Dunstable’s streets this month, helping residents travel more cost effectively, get fit and save money.

They are part of a project aiming to improve travel to employment and education by offering better and more informed choices.

Advisors will be knocking on doors in the Weatherby and Beecroft areas to talk to residents about their travel needs.

The specially trained team can provide tailored information, from details of Busway services to advice on walking and cycling.

On offer will be weekly ‘taster tickets’ for the Grant Palmer C Busway service for new users and those keen to try out the Busway for the first time.

An introductory postcard will be sent to households to inform them of the visit a week before door-knocking there.
