A group of choristers at St Mary’s Church, Eaton Bray recently received medals of achievement from the Royal School of Church Music, as part of the RSCM Voice for Life scheme.
Choirmaster Stephen Axford awarded the medals which the young singers worked towards over several months, showing that they understand musical theory, singing techniques, and how music fits into the life of the church. There are several grades to work for, so no resting on laurels!
The choir welcomes new members so if you can read music (or are learning) and would like to be a part of an ambitious choir then get in touch.
Rehearsals are on Fridays at the church at 7.30pm or the service on Sundays at 10am. Or email eaton email@example.com. All voices welcome, including adults, but especially trebles and sopranos.
