Car fans were geared up for fun at the second annual classic and vintage motor show in Houghton Regis, on Sunday, September 15.
More than 70 fascinating vehicles were on display on the village green.
They ranged from pre-war through to modern classics and also included motorcycles, and commercial and military vehicles.
There were interesting stories linked to many of the vehicles and the judges faced a tough task to choose winners.
Winners were: Pre-War and Mayor Choice Award, David Gregory with MG SA 1938; 1945-68 category, Michael Sharrait with Austin Somerset 1954; 1969 and onwards, Mike Winkworth with Lotus Carlton 1992; commercial, Geoff Peverill with AEC brick lorry 1962; motorcycles, Clive Smith with Vincent Black Shadow 1951; military, Roger Vass, Austin Fire Engine 1941.
The event included entertainment from ‘Voice In A Million’ Fiona Harrison, who sang songs from the 1930s through to the rock and roll era. The nostalgic music provided the perfect backdrop to the vehicles on show.
Houghton Regis Town Council would like to thank Houghton Regis Development Consortium, the Harvest Home and Nisa for their support.
