A new £4.4 million business support and learning centre in Dunstable will open its doors to the public for the first time today, Wednesday.
The public open day at The Incuba centre, on the corner of High Street North and Brewers Hill Road, runs from 2pm-6pm.
Visitors can check out the centre themselves or join in tours. Lots of stands and businesses will be there, with information on topics ranging from recycling to portrait photography.
Tomorrow, Thursday, is the viewing day for businesses and organisations, from 9.15am-1pm, with exhibitors, presentations, tours and networking opportunities.
The centre aims to be “a beacon of enterprise” with offices for fledgling businesses, particularly in the “green” sector, meeting rooms, a spectacular event space and training courses. It has been created by Central Bedfordshire College in association with the European Regional Development Fund and Central Beds Council. College principal and chief executive Ali Hadawi says: “Not only do we promise brilliant facilities at The Incuba, we are also committed to providing excellent training, to ensure businesses are given every chance of success.”
