Watch out for a special procession by Girlguiding Dunstable in the town centre, taking place on Sunday, February 9.
It will be followed by a different take on the annual Thinking Day service, as this year is the centenary of the launch of the Brownies.
The gathering will be part service and part celebration, led by Guiders, and will include the usual renewal of Promises.
Dunstable Salvation Army Band will lead the procession, starting at 2.30pm from the car park at St Mary’s Church, West Street, Dunstable. The procession will head down West Street and turn into Middle Row, making its way to the front of the Methodist Church on The Square.
And the celebration event starts in the Methodist Church at 3pm.
Members will bring items to be given to the Dunstable Foodbank.
A retiring collection will be held for others to provide donations for the foodbank.
