A couple who have worked at Darrell House Dental Surgery in West Street, Dunstable, for 26 years have retired from the practice. Lorinda and Peter Le Roux have lived in Dunstable for the whole of that time.

Mother-of-four Mrs Le Roux said: “We have had so many lovely patients. We will miss them all. It was really hard saying goodbye to them. When you work at a place for a long time you have to love what you do, and I have really loved my job.”

The couple are going to Africa to do charity work. Mrs Le Roux said: “They are really grateful for any help they get so we will be there to do anything they need us to do.”
