Visitors to Priory House Gardens, Dunstable, experienced traditions and cultures from around the world on Saturday.
The Town Council hosted the spectacular Around The World event.
Outgoing Mayor Councillor John Chatterley writes: “You were able to walk from continent to continent with ease and experience a different array of dances, everything from the tango to Irish dancing or to watch a traditional Chinese dragon dance.
“Multiple themed stalls specific to the continents of the world were all very popular and family orientated.
“A didgeridoo workshop, the art of the boomerang, the beats of Polynesia, majorettes, French petanque (boules), maypole dancing, martial art and African drumming taster sessions, Irish pipe band... the list goes on and on.
“Many just sat in the grounds to enjoy the sunshine to watch and listen to the wonderful music from throughout the world that included the American Rat Pack show.”
