Police appeal

Police appeal

Two women were arrested after a Dunstable business received threats of criminal damage.

The incident took place at First Place Training in Albion Street on January 14 when the owners received phone calls threatening that the premises would be “fire bombed”.

At 5pm a number of people arrived at the building and smashed a bottle outside. They then fled the area.

When police officers arrived they discovered discarded matches on the floor.

Two 21-year-old women were arrested nearby but police are keen to hear from anyone who was in Albion Street at the time and may have seen something suspicious. Both women have been released on police bail.

Call PC Jamal Hassan, in confidence, on 01582 394191.
