Dunstable Town Guides have announced their summer programme of walks and talks on the town’s heritage, aimed at clubs, societies and Scouting, Guiding and school groups.
Town Guides will be at the St George’s Day event in Priory House Gardens on Saturday (April 19) offering a children’s walk around Dunstable’s Hidden Priory, a quiz on St George with prizes and a talk on St George in Priory House. Dunstable Library is hosting regular talks by the Town Guides. Call 0300 300 8056.
A guided public walk on Odd and Unusual Historic Dunstable is on Sunday, May 18 at 11am. The meeting point is outside Priory House. Tickets (£5) need to be booked in advance from Priory House Heritage Centre on 01582 891420, opening times 10am-4pm Monday to Saturday.
Saturday, June 21, 6pm: Summer Solstice Ghost Walk. Meet Priory Church car park.
