The former site of Dunstable’s famous department store has been sold, as a deal was finalised this week.

Commercial letting agency Alexander and Co confirmed the site of Moore’s in High Street South has been sold to a North London-based property investment company.

It is believed the rear and the top floors of the property will be used as residential space, while the frontage will remain as a retail opportunity.

Contracts have been signed and exchanged, but a formal announcement is not expected until next month.
