Glittering gala celebrates Dunstable
Dunstable’s business brains and community heroes had their moment in the spotlight at the inaugural Dunstable Awards on Wednesday night.
More than 250 people filled the Grove Theatre for the sparkling gala evening, which was hosted by journalist and presenter Samantha Norman, daughter of Barry Norman.
Organised by Networking at Dunstable’s Katey Horne and Sandie Copp, the night saw young and old from across the town recognised for their hard work, innovation, achievement and dedication to helping others.
The awards were sponsored by a raft of high profile local businesses and organisations, including Whipsnade Zoo and Dunstable Town Council.
Katey said: “As local residents and business owners we were so proud to bring this event to the local community.
