Have a say on academy age range change

editorial image

Houghton Regis Academy is holding a public consultation regarding proposals to change the age range of its student intake.

The change – from nine to 13 years to 11 to 18 years – would create a full secondary age academy and become effective from September 1, 2013.

With a current student capacity of 480, the plan says that over time this could rise to 1,680.

The proposal can be viewed and responded to at www.greenwoodacademies.org
