Headteacher given role to help schools

Staff at Parkfields Middle School have been given a top role supporting schools in challenging circumstances.

David Brandon-Bravo is one of only 125 headteachers to be handed the role of

National Leader of Education in the latest recruitment round.

Mr Brandon-Bravo said: “I am honoured to have been asked to take on this role and hope that both myself and Parkfields can continue to

support school improvement for the benefit of all.”

NLEs are deployed to provide additional leadership

in struggling schools or those in transition to federation or academy status.
